Silvs on Kennedy Café
Welcome to Silvs on Kennedy Café, a project where craftsmanship and creativity merged in the heart of Richmond. ABLE transformed this space into a retro-inspired eatery with style and functionality at the forefront.
Our process began with detailed architectural drawings and frequent on-site meetings, ensuring a seamless collaboration between our team and the builder, Hamilton Marino.
Every inch of the café was carefully curated, from the painted half round dowels to the inviting upholstery. Key features included Laminex prefinished boards, vibrant 2pac materials in various colours, and timber veneer materials.
Our dedication resulted in the construction and installation of custom joinery, banquette seating, open shelving with intricate dowel surrounds, and a café counter that stands as the centrepiece of the space.
From our initial site consultation in mid-June to its unveiling in early August, we invested a month and a half of meticulous work to bring this vision to life. Silvs on Kennedy is more than just a coffee shop; it’s an immersive experience where every element has been crafted with precision and passion.
